Nooks Design: Inspired by a need for their own kid's footwear and a trip to a thrift store in 2014, Ruthy and Louis Philippe came up with a winning bootie design and launched Nooks Design. Nooks design has grown from a mom and pop beginning to a small team of designers in Kelowna who create seasonal designs for these booties using vintage fabric, upcycled wool and leather. They have partnered with a Fair Trade team in Nepal to cut and sew the booties that you can now find at The Local General Store.

West Of Andes: West of Andes’ 100% Alpaca products are created in a Northern community of Chile utilizing the magical handiwork of local artisans. West of Andes’ goal is to help develop women’s fair trade weaving cooperatives, by indigenous organizations and small-scale producers from Chile.
