Caitlin Ambery was born in rural northern B.C., grew up in Victoria and currently resides in Smithers B.C. Caitlin started her artistic career with watercolours but now works predominantly in large format acrylics. Handmade wood ornaments and decorations from Tradeworks Custom Products is a social enterprise that produces wood products in a small custom woodworking shop in Vancouver’s downtown eastside. It is operated solely by women in the community. Tradeworks offers classes to women desiring to re-enter the workforce, and then moves them into carpentry training programs, which produce a variety of lovely wood products, mostly from reclaimed BC wood. http://tradeworks.bc.ca/
